Kitty Kat

Hello and welcome to my rubber stamping, card making blog!  Today I have a Halloween card!  September is happening this Saturday!!  I can't believe it, and I think I say that every year!!!   School is back in session, and it should start cooling off soon (please!).

I made a Trick or Treat card and I took tons of pictures :-)  .....  So!  Here ya go!

This first picture I put on instagram, you can check out my instagram - I go by "schalking".
I was just putting together some cards for a swap, and I love all the parts.

I used the Howlstooth & Scaringbone DSP, love this houndstooth looking paper!  LOVE the colors!

The kitty is called Frightening Feline, I embossed the kitty in Detail Black.  The Trick or Treat and the little frog are from the Toxic Treats Stamp Set.

The colors I used on this card are Tangerine Tango, More Mustard, Very Vanilla, Basic Grey, Basic Black and the frog is Gumball Green.

I hope you enjoyed this Halloween card and there will be more to come!  Have a great Tuesday and thank you for stopping by!

Mr. & Mrs.

Hi!
Happy Monday!  Hope you had a wonderful weekend!!  Well my brother got married to a wonderful woman over the weekend and this is the card I sent them!  They live in Maine, so I didn't make it to the wedding....but the card did!!

Hmmmmmmm, I don't know why this blurred, but below the pictures are clearer..

I loved this stamp when I saw it in the new catalog, it's called Mr. & Mrs...(ummm, that makes sense!)

I got the idea from the SU! catalog, I would have to say I "case'd" (copy and share everything) it, just changed it up a bit.  Here's the card from the catalog, that I case'd (copied).

I love the looks of this card also, I just wanted to go brighter!!

Have a MARVELOUS Monday, and thank you for stopping by today!!

For embellishments I added the pretty wrinkled ribbon, a yellow button and punched out some little flowers with brads as their centers.

Thank you for stopping by today, enjoy your Monday!!

Teacups!

Hello and a Happy Sunday to you!  I have another quick post today featuring Teacups from Papertrey Ink's Tea For Two Additions stamp set.  This stamp set is an add on to yesterday's stamp set, you MUST have teacups to go with the teapots!

I love the teapot and teacup paper, it's from Samantha Walker's Tea Party Collection.

The color combo is so pretty, Marvelous Magenta (retired SU!), So Saffron and Cool Caribbean (retired SU!).  The Tea Party Collection Paper matches SU!'s cardstock perfectly!

Thank you for stopping by today, I hope you've enjoyed this little tea party!  Have a fabulous Sunday!!

Teapot Card

I love teapots and teacups!!  Well, I love teapot and teacup STAMPS!!  Today is a quick post!
This card is made using the Papertrey Ink Tea for Two stamp set.

It's a bit shabby, and the teapot outline is stamped onto scrapbook paper.

I just love this set, so much you can do with it!

Thank you for stopping by today, I'm off for errands and more stamping this afternoon!  Have a lovely day!

Let it Go, one more time....

Hello there,  I did one more "let it go" card, using a circle punch, some cute wired ribbon and a few dollops of glitter!!  The only stamping is the "let it go".   The Polka Dot Paper is retired SU! in Wisteria Wonder, I also used Wisteria Wonder and Whisper White card stocks.

I think I have more fun taking photos of these cards, matching up the background paper!  And yes I've been told I am easily amused!

You can barely see the little balloon stamp that's stamped in Wisteria Wonder  on the inside.

Thank you for stopping by today for another reminder to "let it go"!!

Let it go.....

This cute little balloon stamp in the Owl Occasions stamp set from Stampin' Up has caught my eye.  It is in the Holiday mini catalog.  And the "Let it go" I saw on Pinterest.  So I totally "cased" it.  I love the look of the lone balloon.

I used Real Red and Basic Black on the Whisper White card stock.   Oh and it's a 3 x 3 card.

I glittered up the balloon a bit.  I also used the  Simply Serif Mini Alphabet set.

And I love the polka dot Designer Series Paper..  I do a lot of self talk and "let it go" is one of my mantras.   Things we can't change.  It makes life a little less stressful for us sometimes!

Have a great day today and thank you for stopping by!  Hey!  This could be a little reminder we could stick somewhere to remind us when we need to be reminded to just "let it go"....OK enough counseling for the week, have a good one!!

Flock Together..

Hi  - Thank you for stopping by today!  I decided to do a card challenge called Mojo Monday!  This is the first time I have used a Card Layout...  And it was fun!!  Using the layout below, I just put the colors and papers together, chose a stamp set and and put it together!!

I used the Flock Together Stamp Set from Stampin' Up! and this is what I came up with.

Flock Together also has a matching Designer Series Paper called Birds of a Feather.

I just love these little birds, something about birds, just like bicycles are popular now, birds are popular too!  The colors I used are Crumb Cake, Primrose Petals, Island Indigo, Summer Starfruit and Whisper White.

The 2012 Holiday Mini Catalog has some tulle!  Finally!  I used the Crumb Cake 3 1/2" Scalloped Tulle Ribbon for the bow.  The Scalloped Tulle also comes in Early Espresso and Cherry Cobbler.

And I used another card layout from Mojo Monday for this card:

I used the same Stamp Set, Designer Series Paper, and card stock colors.

I'm loving this stamp set!

I had a lot of fun using the Card Layouts, and I  think I'll be using them more often!
Thank you for stopping by today!  Hope you have a good one!!

2012 Olympic Collection :-)

Hi!  Have you been enjoying the Olympics this year!?

I just had to have some fun with the Olympic rings and stamping, so, I came up with the 2012 Olympic Collection!!  I used different Stampin' Up! stamp sets and accessories and this is what I put together!!

How cute!!  The Winner tickets are in place of the Olympic rings!!  This card was made using the You're Amazing Stamp Set.

This time the butterflies in Papillon Potpourri stamp set take flight oops I mean take the place of the Olympic rings!

This is a 3x3 card, and it is created using the "I am" stamp set, it was a special stamp set at convention!  We received it for attending classes.  It's pretty darn cute!!  And the buttons are all Stampin' Up! and please notice, the colors of the buttons are placed in the same order as the Olympic rings!

This last 2012 Olympic Collection card was made using the Reason to Smile stamp set, which seems to be quite popular!  I love the flowers in this 2-step stamping set, unfortunately, it was available only in July as a special..

So I hope you enjoyed my Olympic dilly-dallying!  I had fun!!  Thank you for stopping by today!!

Bicycles...

Hi, I hope you have a lovely Sunday ahead of you!  It looks like it's going to be a beautiful, warm day today.  A nice day to get out on your bicycle (maybe?)!!
I am so into bicycles right now (not actually riding yet), I think my little obsession started on  Pinterest.  If you check this link, you will see the many "cute" bicycle pictures I have pinned.  Most of the bikes have baskets with flowers in them, and they look all shabby chic or vintage, AND they are the prettiest colors!!  So that is my inspiration.  This is just a simple little bicycle stamp, no basket with flowers, but I sure could play with the colors!!
The bicycle stamp is from Cats Life Press, they have some really cute stamps!

This could be used as a "man" (son, boyfriend, hubby, brother, dad, grandpa, etc....) birthday card, considering the colors, Crumb Cake and Basic Black.

I used the Stampin' Up! Chevron Textured Impressions Embossing Folder on the black card stock, kinda hard to see here.

This is a cute chevron pattern stamp found in the  Stampin' Up! Holiday Mini catalog, it's in the Border Banter stamp set.

This stamp I used some color, love these colors, Calypso Coral, Bermuda Bay and Whisper White.

This is pretty much a simply stamped card.  I added some Basic Pearl Jewel Accents for embellishment.

I hope you enjoyed these bicycle cards today, thank you for stopping by and I look forward to sharing some more cards tomorrow!
