Papertrey Ink - Friendship Jar Stamp Set

Hi, happy Tuesday!  I'm a day late on the Memorial Day card, but here it is anyway.
It's a stamp set by Papertrey Ink, actually a bunch of stamp sets.  The Friendship Jar Stamp Set is the main jar set with a variety of lids, different patterns to fill it and the coordinating sets are all things spring, summer, fall and winter!
Here's my Memorial Day card (this will come in handy for 4th of July also):

This card was made using the Friendship Jar Summer Fillers stamp set - I love it!  Take a look, it comes with flowers, shells, make a margarita, fill it with berries, it's just a real fun stamp collection!

Here's the close-up, of course I glittered the stars!

In the side and "flat" views maybe you can see that I used red tulle, and knotted it to give it a ribbony look...

Thank you for stopping by today, and please stop by again tomorrow!  Have a great Tuesday!!

Happy Birthday Ella!

Good Morning and Happy Sunday to you!  My grandchildren have been visiting, and I have neglected my blog and have been too busy to stamp!!  We've had so much fun, a Princess (Cinderella) birthday party for Ella's 2nd birthday and a trip to Disneyland this past Tuesday!!  I will share more about the Princess party and Disneyland later this week, but today I wanted to share Ella's birthday card!  I finally did some stamping Saturday, I had to get Ella' birthday card done for her real birthday, which is today, Sunday.  I used a 2004 SU!  Princess stamp set and I think it turned out pretty cute!  When my hubby signed "Grandpa" to it, he said it was a "keeper"!!  He's so supportive of my stamping habit :-) and the biggest fan of my homemade cards...

Well here's Miss Ella, with all her Princess decor, LOVE the Cinderella earrings, the face paint with lots of glitter and her tiara - she was actually crowned "Princess Ella" by Cinderella, it was the cutest!!

And here is Ella's birthday card, I like the nice bright colors, they make it a very happy card!

So we have the Princess with the diamond tiara, and the princess wand....

The wand has lots of glitter on it, must have glitter...princesses LOVE glitter.

I wanted to add some tulle, so I used a light pink.  Light pink tulle is princessy.....

Last view, the laying down flat view, so you can see the raised details  :-)  The wand is raised a bit, and so is the 2...I can't believe Ella is 2 already, time goes by so fast, seems like we were just having the baby shower for Bethany, and eagerly waiting to welcome our baby Ella.
And Ella is sooooooooo independent, she doesn't want help with anything, she wants to do it all herself.  She's our little sweetheart.  Happy Birthday to my favorite grandaughter, Ella Bella.  Gramma love you.

Cupcake Monday

Hi Happy Monday!  Here is another one of the SU! Hostess sets, I love it!!  The first Keep Calm statement I saw was on Pinterest, and it said "Keep Calm and Listen to Adele"!  And Adele is one of my favorite artists..NOW I see these Keep Calm statements all over the place, so SU! did a stamp set!  How clever is that?!?!?!

The colors I used are Soft Suede, Pool Party and Calypso Coral.

I wrapped some Calypso Coral ribbon round and round the card and added a Pool Party button!  Love the little details!

I also punch the borders and raised up the cupcake a bit.

I hope you enjoyed this card today, have a great Monday!!  Thank you for stopping by and I hope you stop by again tomorrow!!

Bon Bon Sunday..

Good Morning and Happy Sunday to you!  I created this card using the "A Cherry on Top" Hostess set again, it's a cute set, I'm likin' it!  I've been glittering the cake plate cover, to make it look like it's glass or clear,  and you can never have too much glitter!

The colors I used are some of my favorites, once again, Poppy Parade (to be retired May 31, so bummed!), Pool Party and Lucky Limeade...I love these colors together.

You can see the crystal rhinestones here, they're on the cake plate, and on the Happy Birthday pennant (I love crystal rhinestones too).  Oh and you can see the glitter.  I stamped the bon bons twice, and then cut out the little paper cup part, and also cut out the cherry, and the bon bons.  I popped up the bon bon a bit, for dimension.

The Bitty Banner Framelits are already one of my fav new dies!  I will be able to start linking these items once the new SU! catalog is released on June 1.  Another die I've been using is the Oval Accent Bigz Clear...another sneak peek item.

Here is the 4th view, laying flat, so you can kind of see the pieces that are popped up a bit...Oh I just love this stuff.
My grandkids are almost here, they've been driving all day!  I'm so excited!!  And we're having Ella's Princess birthday party tomorrow, I'm sooooooo looking forward to it!!

I hope you enjoyed this card, I had fun making it!  Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you'll stop by again tomorrow..

Baja Breeze Birdie

Hi - Happy Thursday!  We're almost to Friday, one more day!!  Is this a wild card?  I like the color combo, but it might be too much for some stamper's taste!!  Again, I've used Betsy's Blossoms (tomorrow, FRIDAY, NEW SET!!)

I've also been working on some projects for my Grandaughter Ella's birthday party, she's going to be 2 on the 27th, but we're having a little party this Sunday.  I'll share some photos from the party next week.

Let's see the colors I used are Baja Breeze, Tangerine Tango, Rose Red, Rich Razzleberry and Daffodil Delight.

I added some SU! Dazzling Diamonds glitter to the birds wings, and to the centers of the flowers.

I hope you liked this card, and I'll have another one for Friday, using a new SU! Hostess Set!
Thanks for stopping by today and I do hope you stop by again tomorrow!!

The other colors I used are Daffodil Delight, Tangerine Tango and Rose Red.

Betsy's Blossoms, again...

Hi, Happy Tuesday!  I had a busy weekend and just got back to card making yesterday!  I just can't stop with the SU! Betsy's Blossoms stamp set!  I LOVE the big flower (is it a zinnia?) and the cute bird!!  Today I'm just using the flower and leaves..  By the end of the week, I promise I will be using a different set!  Tuesday's card is bright (kinda summery!):

The colors used are Lucky Limeade, Whisper White and Tangerine Tango, with a bit of Basic Black.

The Best Wishes is stamped in Basic Black and cut out with the new die set "Bitty Banners Framelits". It's in the new catalog, and comes in handy!!

There are two tiny black crystals on the banner, I love a little bling, and the black crystals have been coming in handy for the perfect little accent pieces!

I did a something a little different with the wrinkled ribbon, if you can see it I just tied little knots every inch or so, and just attached it to the back.  Gotta have some ribbon!!
Thank you for stopping by my blog!  I'll be back again tomorrow with another cute card!!  Have a great day!!

Sneak Peak..

Happy Thursday to you and thank you for stopping by!  All the demonstrators for Stampin' Up! received a Sneak Peak of some of the items that will be in the 2012 - 2013 Stampin' Up! catalog!

The stamp set I used for this Mother's Day card is called Betsy's Blossoms and I can tell it's going to be one of my favorite stamp sets!  I love the big solid stamps, flowers, a bird and leaves, love it!

I've used some of the new In Colors for 2012-2013 also, Gumball Green, Primrose Petals, Summer Starfruit and Raspberry Ripple.

I added a little bit of tulle, and used the new Bitty Banners Framelits for the "Happy Mother's Day"!!  So easy, use the die then stick it on another color cardstock and do a quick cut around, you have a cute layered greeting!

The little bird is adorable, I heavily glittered her wings, you could also stamp her in a different color and cut out the different color wings!!

Like I said, I'm loving this stamp set, it makes Happy cards!

Enjoy your Thursday!  Thank you for stopping by!  I'll have another Mother's Day card tomorrow!!
